A day to remember

Its been quite a while... but I have got to put this down.. Its been a few weeks, but its so firmly etched in my mind that I remember every detail. it was the day when I was QuizMaster, playing host to my classmates at IIT. It took nearly 10 days of toil and sweat to make this quiz materialise. Even after I had got the Biz Quiz questions ready, I had to really persevere to get my classmates to attend it, primarily 'cause there was no consensus on the timing. Finally , I managed to grab the class's attention and fixed a time. when I started the quiz, I was simply amazed. The turnout was much higher than expected and the guys were bubbling with enthusiasm. I started off with full vigour and there was no looking back. I had planned for 6 rounds, with a lot of help my dear friend, who kept the scores. The class was divided into 4 teams, and it was nail-biting, every round. I gave out toffees to the good answers, of course , what was good was up to me to decide, The Quiz Master is God! The rounds went at lightning speed and had all the moments of a nerve cracker of a contest. 2 teams were neck and neck and the 2nd placed team literally won off the lat question!.. There were cheers all around and more than any one else, I felt overjoyed! I had done it, juggling different questions, keeping the audience interested and most of all, bringing our class together and even managing to get accolades from the quiz buffs of the class. It was a day to remember and i hope the quizzing culture has been kicked off!
